Dr. Andreea Diaconescu is looking for a post-doc with a strong background in computational neuroscience or computational psychiatry, or both. More details about the lab and the position can be found on the lab website – Cognitive Network Modelling team https://cognemo.com/. Our team will focus particularly on computational models of suicidality in psychoaffective disorders.

The postdoc will be joining an interdisciplinary lab at the Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics (CAMH & University of Toronto) that works at the intersection of computational neuroscience, psychiatry, pharmacology, and cognitive neuroscience. CAMH is one of the largest addiction and mental health organisations in North America and Canada’s leading mental health and addiction teaching hospital. It offers a unique research environment with access to state-of-the-art imaging facilities (PET, 3T MRI, hd-EEG). The Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics within CAMH aims to transform our understanding of mental health by modelling data across all levels of the brain from genes to neural circuits to behaviour. This multimodal data is gathered across the clinical environment including genetic, epigenetic, MRI, DTI, fMRI, hd-EEG, actigraphy and electronic medical record data.

All the details about the position can be found here.

Potential candidates may contact Andreea Diaconescu Andreea.Diaconescu@camh.ca directly and she is more than happy to talk about the position and potential projects in person.
