The Department of Psychiatry and The Friedman Brain Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai are looking to hire two tenure-track researchers in Computational Psychiatry at either the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Mount Sinai is currently the largest hospital system in New York with established clinical programs in psychiatry that see high patient volumes.

The successful applicant will work closely with faculty at the Center for Computational Neuropsychiatry and Neuroscience, Department of Psychiatry, the Nash Family Department of Neuroscience, and researchers across the Friedman Brain Institute to engage in collaborative research efforts and establish an independent and NIH-funded research group at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai conducting high impact research in human computational psychiatry and neuroscience. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is a world leader in basic and clinical neuroscience. The aim of this hire is to complement The Friedman Brain Institute’s research strengths across behavioral, cognitive, molecular, and clinical levels of neuropsychiatry, as well as in computational biomedical research across departments and institutes.

For position 1, we are looking for applicants with a strong track record and experience in conducting either theory-driven or data-driven computational, cognitive neuroscience work to address questions that are relevant to psychiatry.

For position 2, we are looking for clinician researchers with a strong track record and experience in conducting neuroimaging research on schizophrenia-related disorders.
