The five-day course (29th August &#8211; 2nd September) will provide an overview of state-of-the-art modelling techniques for computational psychiatry and discuss pressing questions in the field.<br \/>\nThe course is structured in three parts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Day 1 is dedicated to psychiatric disorders and the need for computational models to address open questions in the field.<\/li>\n<li>Day 2-4 cover basic to more advanced modelling techniques including Bayesian Model Selection,\u00a0 Machine Learning Techniques, Reinforcement Learning, Drift-Diffusion Modeling, Dynamic Causal Modeling, Bayesian Models for Perception, Predictive Coding and more.<\/li>\n<li>Day 5 will demonstrate applications of these models in computational psychiatry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The course is meant to be practically useful for students and scientists who would like to apply modelling techniques to study learning, decision-making and brain physiology in patients with psychiatric disorders.
