We are also recruiting a PhD student to start in October 2021 to work on a new project focused on a recently funded ERC project entitled ???Making and Breaking a Habit???. The PhD will involve several complementary and cutting edge methodologies, including repeated smartphone-based assessments (www.neureka.ie), electrophysiology (EEG) and causal manipulation in the service of uncovering how habits develop, how they interact with goal-directed control capacity, how they relate to variation in mental health and how we can boost habit formation by-design.
