This meeting will again combine tutorial and research talk.

  • introduction to behavioural modelling
  • recent advances using hierarchical EM-based and their statistical properties
  • fitting hierarchical models using general-purpose sampling (MCMC) methods
  • issues and approaches to model comparison

Although many of the issues apply to other types of data, the presentation will focus on behavioural data modelling.

Nathaniel Daw is Professor of Neural Science and Psychology at Princeton University. Quentin Huys is senior research fellow at the Translational Neuromodeling Unit, University of Zurich and ETH Zurich.
